Project Overview
The client has been developing, supporting, and promoting the public procurement profession through premier educational and research programs, professional support, technical services, and advocacy initiatives that benefit members and other important stakeholders since 1944. As an existing Client, we were asked to further improve their Pimcore platform.
Zorang analyzed web data and componentized design elements to develop into reusable widgets within Pimcore.
Technology Used
- Pimcore enhancements
- Figma Design Prototypes
- Google Analytics
- GA4 Conversion
How Did We Help Them?
- Common CMS and Commerce platform for corporate and 70+ Chapter sites
Pimcore provides a robust CMS platform that allows new pages for member content, courses and much more. On top of this robust platform, Zorang further enhanced the platform by providing more User Interface (UI) capability. We created several widgets that could be used anywhere within a pimcore page component.
- Figma Design Prototype
Zorang provided functional prototypes so the client could visualize new design concepts. We adhered to brand guidelines and design rules that were established by client. Based on feedback we modified the designs until the client was satisfied with the final result.
- Google Analytics Conversion
Google Analytics is going through a large transition as it moves from Universal Analytics (UA) to Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Zorang has made this process smooth by implementing GA4, while simultaneously maintaining UA for historical data. Zorang also transitioned all UA tags to GA4 tags within Tag Manager, so the client can keep track of their customized metrics.
What Were The Final Outcomes?
Zorang analyzed web data to find pain points in user experience. Zorang provided multiple stages of UI prototype designs for stakeholders to showcase. After designs were approved, we componentized design elements to develop into reusable widgets within Pimcore. Zorang converted their Google Analytics from UA to GA4 and converted their existing Google Tag Manager tags to work within GA4.
